Description: Editions Coffee Shop & Bookstore is a cozy haven where literature and caffeine connoisseurs come together. As you step inside, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the scent of well-loved books, creating an inviting atmosphere that sparks creativity and relaxation. The space is adorned with shelves stacked high with a curated selection of both new releases and timeless classics, inviting patrons to explore literary worlds while savoring a cup of their favorite brew. You can also find a selection of gently used books! The coffee offerings are equally enticing, with expertly crafted espresso drinks, teas, and Lotus Energy drinks!

Curator's Comments: I love this place. It's exactly what the name suggests, a coffee shop and a bookstore, but inside a converted house. I already love libraries and bookstores in general, but this one adds a full coffee shop while still keeping that traditional bookstore vibe, not the chic, trendy setup you get at Barnes & Noble these days. You'll see writing groups meeting to share their latest work, book clubs gathering, friends chatting, students doing homework, and people on their own reading, working, or browsing the shelves. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often. There's great access to outlets at the seating spots near the windows, and they even put sticky notes with the Wi-Fi info nearby, which I appreciate. There's a certain seat where you can see the road to your left and the train tracks to your right, so you can watch cars and trains go by. Main character, "my life is a movie" energy. Books are everywhere. They've made smart use of the space. Even when it's busy, if you peek around, you can usually find a place to sit. And while it's a coffee shop, they have an expansive tea menu. They've got a whole range of flavors, hot or cold. The respect for tea lovers is real πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ’―. If you've ever been to Brakeman's in Matthews or Backyard Brew in Dilworth, also coffee shops in converted homes, it's like that but bigger and with a bookstore. There's plenty of parking, but just a heads-up, the entrance is a bit up the road across from the church. The road in front of the store that looks like the entrance is actually the exit.
