It’s in the heart of downtown Waxhaw, right on the main walkway, so if you’re into people-watching, this is a great spot to post up with a coffee and watch the town stroll by.

But let me turn my focus to something of the utmost importance. They have cinnamon rolls, and they are divine. Cream cheese frosting that looks like the disheveled hair of a British rock star, chaotic and glorious in the best way. The roll is puff pastry-style, generously sized, and loaded with cinnamon.

Overall, I like this place because it feels authentic and lived-in. They also have a general store and a full food menu, along with solid coffee, tea, and pastries. If you like small-town, locally-owned, down-to-earth, authentic vibes, a day trip to Waxhaw is worth it. For this spot, and a few others, including Crossroads Coffee, Holy Cannoli, Jebena Cafe, and Virtuoso Breadworks, all of which are within waking distance.
