Provided Coffee | NoDa

Description: Provided Coffee is a coffee shop serving handcrafted espresso beverages and bottled drinks to the Greater Carolinas. Founded by two best friends at 18 years old, Provided aims to create an atmosphere of community wherever travelled. As coffee can act as a bridge of connection between others, the customer can expect "special experiences in unusual places."

Comments: It’s got this grounded, modern vibe with concrete block walls that break up different parts of the space. Olive green and burgundy tones make it feel earthy and warm, and plants here and there tie it all together. It’s not quite industrial chic, it’s industrial something else that I don’t have the vocabulary to describe, but it’s very cool and earthy and I like it.

The lighting is warm, the colors are darker, and the whole place feels like autumn. Even the music fits the mood, with calming indie, dream pop, and a little bit of folk mixed in. There's a projector showing movies, sometimes black and white oldies, and other times whatever people want to see. The effort they put into the aesthetic really shows, and it deserves to be recognized.

I’ve been told their apple butter matcha is really good, but so is the plain matcha. Just straight up matcha powder and hot water. Try it. You'll get the most health benefits that way! It’s already a go-to spot for remote workers, with good outlet access and a decent amount of seating. It feels intentional. Like every part of it was designed for people to stay awhile.

They have a location in Concord that's equally as awesome. It's attached to a thrift store inside with great finds. I've often felt I'd go there a lot if it was closer, so this NoDa location is a great alternative!
