Description: Specialty coffee, local pastries, craft beer & wine.

Comments: The space has a sort of contemporary yet regal aesthetic to it. Teal walls with gold accents and warm colors on the furniture and decorations. It’s by an apartment complex, so while there’s free parking, the spots are almost always taken by residents. Paid street parking is available nearby though.

There's a moderate amount of seating, including some outdoor options and a picnic table area belonging to the apartments but accessible to all. Summit Coffee is in general a great Charlotte local chain. They have a unique birthday cake cookie. It has frosting piled in the center rather than spread to the edges, so you have to eat your way to it, almost like a reward. They also offer more creative tea options than most coffee shops.
