Comments: Free parking at a coffee shop in South End? Halleluiah 🙌🏾. For that alone I'm a fan of this place. Aesthetically, it's bright, light, and airy. Lots of windows letting in natural light, plush seats instead of hard metal chairs to make things feel more comfortable, and plants interspersed throughout the space to give it some color and earthy vibes. And there's two soft couches with comfortable pillows where you can lounge about.

I don’t drink coffee, but they didn’t have herbal tea, so I got an Americano. I didn’t actually know what an Americano was. I just sheepishly admitted that I don’t know how to order coffee and asked for a normal black coffee, and that’s what the barista graciously gave me. I’m very grateful she didn’t make me feel embarrassed. Very kind. Now, I don’t know how an Americano is supposed to taste, but it tasted good to me. Do with that what you will.

As a place to work remotely, this is great. Access to outlets is good, the seating is spread out so you’re not cramped, and there’s even a glass booth where you can take a private call if you really don’t want anyone to hear your conversation. Top tier remote work spot in terms of layout. Whoever designed it clearly wanted to invite laptop campers such as myself, and they succeeded.

The only thing I’ll say is that you really need to bring noise cancelling headphones with you. Downstairs in the same building is a gym, and they have fitness classes blasting music all hours of the day. So, if you’re easily distracted by noise, either bring headphones or skip this spot entirely. Other than that, it’s great.
