Description: Archive CLT is a Black owned book cafe in Charlotte NC. We offer local roasted coffee and espresso along with your favorite nostalgic books, magazines and relics.

Curator's Comments: You could drop this spot right into Brooklyn and it'd fit right in. It's black owned, black themed, and very cool. The walls are decked with black history, culture, art, and icons. There's a live DJ sometimes playing music Mos Def would approve of. You can catch a group of Bernie Mac/Cedric the Entertainer brand old heads in here on some weekends in barbershop mode, just chilling. If Dr. Umar (iykyk) ever came to Charlotte this is where he'd want to hang out. Its unapologetically black. It's worth visiting just for the vibes. If you haven't caught on by now I—the creator of this site—am black—and proud!
