Curator's Comments: Concrete floors, metal chairs, exposed lighting, and corrugated metal along the counter give this place a distinct urban industrial vibe. It's a small spot, just a few tables inside and a couple more outside, but what makes it unique is that it's attached to a funeral home. The name "Coffin House" is quite literal. I felt surprisingly cozy here. Genuinely at ease. I don't know if it's a spiritual kind of calm that comes from being next to a funeral home, like that quiet stillness before death, which might actually be a little concerning if that's the case, or if it's just the warm decor and kind staff. Either way, this is a cool spot worth visiting.
