Curator's Comments: A spacious, swanky atrium with marble floors, high ceilings, and plenty of natural light. It's connected to Bank of America, Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, and the Overstreet Mall. The 2024 redesign added tons of comfy seating and outlet towers so you can easily stay charged. There's several free Wi-Fi options (try another network if one acts up) and a Caribou Coffee for drinks and snacks. The downside is it's Uptown, so no free parking. I'd suggest parking in the Bank of America Corporate Center Garage—take the elevator to the 6th floor, and you’re inside Founders Hall. There's security guards everywhere, to the point where it's like "ayo calm down". They on every corner. You'll never feel safer than you will hanging out here. Upstairs near Caribou there’s a game room open to the public called The Lounge with ping pong, mini golf, a pool table, arcade games, and overpriced snacks. Around the corner from Caribou, you'll find a Post Office, a small library, and a path to the Overstreet Mall with more food options. You can explore most of Uptown indoors via the skywalks that connect the big buildings. This place is totally worth an Uptown day trip. Work/study then explore and go to an evening event (Hornets game, Middle C Jazz, Blumenthal show) to justify the price of parking.
