Comments: This place is a great excuse to visit Calvary Church, even if you're not religious, simply because of how beautiful it is. The external architecture alone is worth the trip. From the outside, it’s stunning. And on the inside, it’s massive, pristine, and modern in ways that surprised me. Calvary is known for being more traditional, the suit and tie kind of church, but the space feels fresh.

The coffee shop is tucked in a corner near the entrance. On its own, with both indoor and outdoor seating, it’s pretty spacious. And if it gets full, there’s plenty of extra lounge-style seating in the lobby that feels fair game for coffee shop patrons. There’s also a Christian bookstore and reading area called the Word Room that’s just as large as the shop itself.

As for the coffee, I’m not a coffee drinker, so I won’t pretend to be an expert, but it didn't appear to be anything remarkable. The tea options are pretty standard too, just your usual bagged selections. But the real draw here is the atmosphere. The peace and quiet, the beauty of the church, the solid access to outlets, the little umbrella-covered tables outside, and the chance to walk around the campus without needing to attend a service.

I'm a Christian, but non-denominational, so I probably wouldn’t have ended up at Calvary otherwise. I’m glad I came to see the coffee shop and explore the area. It’s a cool space.
