Comments: Plenty of space, convenience store items, a marvelous food menu (the pizza and wraps are particularly good), and most importantly, pastries. Among them, cinnamon rolls.

Now, about their cinnamon rolls. The best way I can describe them is that they’re thick. Not wide, not heavyset, not big boned, not plus sized. Thick. You feel the weight of it when you pick one up. It’s like they pulled them from the oven just ten seconds early to preserve this perfect sense of doughiness. They’re fully cooked, no raw bite, but not flaky or airy either. They’ve got heft. Cream cheese frosting on top. Marvelous. A solid cinnamon roll.

The only real challenge if you’re coming here to work or study is outlet access, which can be a bit scarce, so show up charged. Aside from that, it’s an excellent hangout spot. They’ve also got a newer location in Myers Park that’s cool in its own right.
